A Study on The Experiments of High School Physics Course Text Books


Abstract
In this study, I compared the quantity and contents of experiments in current physics text books with those of old text books and considered text book experments in several aspects to search ways which improve text book experiments for the better so high school students can study physics more inqusitively.
The results of thes study are as following.
1. The number of experiments for group activities has increased in current text books but the contents are the same as in old text books.
2.¡¸Science ¥±-1¡¹and¡¸Physics¡¹include about 50£¥ of PSSC experiments. The students should be directed not to do many experiments but to do a few inquisitive experiments.
3. The standard instrument table for high school course publised by the education authorities should be improved to be suitable for the current text-books.
